In terms of metropolitan areas, it is first, followed by Jonesboro, Arkansas, Corpus Christi, Texas, Houston, Beaumont-Port Arthur (again, Texas), Shreveport, Louisiana, Austin (Texas!!), and Birmingham, Alabama. As the NY Times* puts it, these locales have "lots of everything but quakes: twisters, hurricane remnants [(or hurricanes themselves)], hail, wind, drought, floods."
