At his death, Howard Hughes employed, among others, a group of 6 men, 5 of whom were Mormon, his executive assistants. The executive assistants monitored Hughes 24 hours/day and were compensated with high salaries (maybe as much as $110,000/year). Hughes was a germaphobe and took elaborate precautions to avoid contact with others and things. When he died, he weighed only 91 lbs....on a 6'4" frame. He had five broken off hypodermic needles in one of his arms.
